This program offers eligible health workers 15% of the average loan debt in their specific field if they complete a two-year contract in a designated area or engage in teaching.
In a recent campaign event near the Michigan State University campus, Walz emphasized the importance of addressing student loan debt and climate change. He reminisced about a time when working a minimum wage job during the summer could cover an entire year's tuition at the University of Minnesota.
