Minnesota Governor Tim Walz recently spoke at a fundraiser in Denver, where he criticized former President Donald Trump for promoting a false conspiracy theory. According to a pool report, Walz addressed Trump's claim that images of the crowd sizes at a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris in Michigan were created by artificial intelligence.
During the fundraiser hosted by software entrepreneur Tim Gill, Walz discussed the unique experience of addressing large crowds at rallies since joining the ticket. He emphasized the absence of a safety net in such situations, highlighting the real nature of the audience present.
Colorado Governor Jared Polis joined in with a light-hearted comment, joking about the possibility of the crowd being AI-generated. In response, Walz reiterated that the crowd in Detroit was genuine and emphasized that the ballots cast by attendees would also be real, not artificial intelligence.
Walz's remarks in Denver echoed similar comments made at a fundraiser in Newport Beach, California, the day before. The Governor is currently on a cross-country swing, attending fundraisers in various states, including Boston, Rhode Island, and New York.
