Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz Accepts Democratic VP Nomination

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz graciously accepted his party's nomination for vice president at the Democratic National Convention held in Chicago on Wednesday. In his acceptance speech, Walz expressed deep gratitude, stating, 'It’s the honor of my life to accept your nomination for vice president of the United States.'

Walz also extended his appreciation to Senator Kamala Harris for inviting him to join the ticket and acknowledged President Joe Biden for his 'four years of strong, historic leadership.'

Gwen Walz and their children, who were present at the convention, were visibly moved as they watched the governor take the stage to deliver his speech.

In what is deemed the most significant moment of his political career, Governor Walz is expected to leverage his personal narrative to connect with voters and introduce himself on a broader scale.
