A minion-mad man is raising smiles around his home town thanks to his whacky outfits and colourful car.
Peter Henderson is known in Armadale as Minion Man thanks to his love of the cheeky yellow fellas and has even covered his motor in Minion stickers outside while inside even the seat covers and Minion-themed.
His wife Cheryl (47) is also a fan of all things animated - her own car is covered in stickers of her favourite Pokemon characters.
The couple say the started just to spread a bit of joy during lockdown.
Cheryl said: “We started with the Minion car, just to bring smiles and cheer people up.
“We had no idea this would end up being so popular.
“The locals - especially the kids - absolutely love the Minion car and call my husband The Minion Man.
“We get asked to attend charity events and try our best to have sweets and gifts to give to children.
“The Minion Man is now a local celebrity here in Armadale.
“He’s always getting asked for selfies and he always has Minion sweets to give the local kids.
“My husband talked me into turning my car into something, so I chose Pokemon.
“My car is still unknown to most because it’s new - some people even think it’s someone just trying to copy the minion car.
“Kids get super excited just seeing him .
“We’re a good team and just want to make people laugh and smile. Both cars will be in Armadale Gala Day.
“We’ll also be at a Macmillan fundraiser on May 28.
“I’m gradually trying to order little Minion and Pokemon gifts to hand out to the kids there
“I do get smiles while I’m driving it and that is all I want. These are hard times and getting one smile a day means we have made someone smile.
“We don’t do it to make money, in fact it’s hard work getting the cars decorated and supplying the locals with gifts.
“We just want to make people happy.”
