Mini Max Calippo ice-creams recalled due to possible presence of metal pieces

A popular ice-cream has been recalled from sale due to the possible presence of small metal pieces.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) issued the alert today for batches of Mini Max Calippo (Orange and Lemon-Lime) after manufacturers HB announced the recall.

The affected ice pops come in a pack of six and have the batch codes: L0121, L0122, L0123, L0124, L1025 and L0126 and the best before date of 04/2022 or 05/2022.

The ice-creams originated in the UK.

Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batches.
