Min Woo Lee What's In The Bag? 2025 Update

Min Woo Lee What's In The Bag? 2025 Update.

Min Woo Lee What's In The Bag?

Min Woo Lee is one of the fastest rising stars in the game right now and 2025 could be a big breakout year for him in the Majors. The Australian has a cult following due to his exciting brand of golf and both Min Woo and his sister, Minjee, are Callaway brand ambassadors.  Min Woo is nicknamed ‘the Chef’ and wherever he plays in the world he has a loyal following of fans yelling “let him cook!”. Here, we take a closer look inside his bag to find out what clubs he appears to be set on for the 2025 season.

Driver

Big hitting Min Woo has made a change at the top of the bag for 2025, replacing the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond S driver (10.5° head set to 9.5°) with the all new Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond driver with a Fujikura Ventus Blue 6X shaft. The Elyte drivers are new for 2025 and the Triple Diamond is the low spinning model often used on tour.

Our driver tester Joe Ferguson put the Elyte Triple Diamond through its paces and said “This is as good as it gets in the low-spin driver category. The launch monitor data is impressive on its own, but when you marry that with significantly enhanced levels of forgiveness and genuine workability, you have the makings of a classic.“

Fairway Woods

What Fairway Wood Does Min Woo Lee Use?

When it comes to fairway woods, it’s a similar story to driver as Lee has switched from Paradym Ai Smoke to the new Elyte model. However, whereas in the Paradym Ai Smoke he was gaming the Triple Diamond High Launch model, in the Elite he has gone for the standard, move forgiving head. His preferred loft is 16.5° and it is fitted with the Fujikura Ventus Blue 9 X shaft.

This is a club that impressed us in testing due to its forgiving nature on shots that didn’t find the sweet spot. A 34g weight is positioned behind the face to bring the center of gravity lower and forwards, promoting faster ball speeds even with shots struck low on the face. Undoubtedly one of the most forgiving fairway woods of 2025.

Hybrid

Staying at the top end of the bag, Lee has opened the 2025 season with a Callaway Apex Pro hybrid. This might be course dependant though and we would not be surprised to see it rotating with an utility iron at various points during the year. Having graduated from the DP World Tour to the PGA Tour, many of the courses he plays now require high, soft landing long approach shots on par fives so the hybrid is more suitable than the utility iron. His shaft of choice in the hybrid is a Fujikura Ventus Blue HB 8 X.

Irons

Again, with the irons we see another switch here for 2025. For several years Lee's 4-PW were the Callaway Apex MB irons, with the True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts. For those who appreciate the classic muscle-back design and crave the ability to work shots with pinpoint precision, the Apex MB 2024 iron is a true gem, a model that you'll find on our list of the best golf blade irons. Lee has now moved into a set of prototype Callaway Apex irons. We don’t know too much about them at this stage other than they are forged muscle back blades which may be introduced to the Callaway line up later this year.

In addition to this, the Aussie will often use a Callaway X-Forged UT utility iron, a club that has 21° of loft and acts as his 3-iron. Callaway manufactures some of the best driving irons and best utility irons on the market. This blade style design long iron has long been a favorite of his, but it is currently vying with the hybrid  for a place in the bag.

Wedges

The Aussie star carries three more wedges in addition to the standard one that's part of his set of Callaway prototype irons. First up, there's his 50° Callaway Opus wedge, which is a real favourite of ours and undoubtedly one of the best all-round wedges on the market, Unsurprisingly then, it makes our list of the best gap wedges. In terms of shaft, it's fitted with a Nippon NS Pro Modus 120S.

Completing his wedge set-up, Lee also carries a Titleist Vokey SM9 (56° @55°) and a Vokey WedgeWorks, with 60° of loft, which he has personalised with his initials.

Putter

What Putter Does Min Woo Lee Use?

When it comes to the flatstick, Min Woo Lee seems unable to settle on one choice and then stick to it for any length of time. His putter situation is in a constant state of flux as he moved from one model of Odyssey Ai-ONE to another. He's used Odyssey, a brand that continues to produce some of the best putters, for many years.

Having mostly used the Odyssey Ai-One Double Wide in 2024, Lee has opened up 2025 by going back to an old putter that he has gamed in the past. The Odyssey O-Works 1W putter was released in 2017 and features the original Odyssey Microhinge face insert, which is designed to promote a pure, forward roll to get putts started on the correct path and then staying there due to a design which counteracts side spin and back spin.

Ball

When it comes to his golf ball, Lee is again on the Callaway train,  using the Callaway Chrome Tour X golf ball. This is an an excellent premium ball – spinnier, more workable and firmer feeling than its sibling, the Chrome Tour. It's a model that will suit players looking for maximum spin and those who love to shape the ball and it is one of the best premium golf balls on the market.

Apparel/Shoes

Lee used to wear Nike Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 golf shoes, but he has since switched to the FootJoy Premiere Series Packard, which is more of a sophisticated style. It's definitely one of our favorite models, and one of the best FootJoy golf shoes

When it comes to clothing, Lee is one of luluemon's newest ambassadors after becoming the first PGA Tour professional to sign an apparel deal with the brand, which is an activewear company.
