Excitement machine Min Woo Lee has followed up his record-breaking victory at the Macau Open with selection in Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's elite new TGL virtual golf league.
Fellow Australian Adam Scott will also line up alongside superstars including Woods, McIlroy, Masters champion Jon Rahm and dual major winner Justin Thomas in the revolutionary stadium concept.
Featuring only 24 PGA Tour players in total, the TGL aims to fuse advanced tech and live action with six teams of four across a season of matches in prime time starting in Florida in January.
The players will tee up at a purpose-built arena in Palm Beach Gardens and offer fans a progressive, shorter format of team golf.
Rapidly living up to his reputation as "the hottest property in golf", Lee wants to play with Woods, who co-founded the TGL with McIlroy and CEO CEO Mike McCarley in retaliation to the Saudi-backed LIV Golf breakaway league that raided the PGA Tour talent last year.
"I hope to be on his team," the 25-year-old Lee said of joining the ranks of 15-time major winner Woods and company.
"It's amazing. Look at the roster, it's crazy. It seems like everyone and then there's me. I'm trying to do my best and compete with these guys - obviously major champions and best in the world.
"I guess (I can add) a bit of my fun personality and hopefully I can play some good golf there, too.
"I really like that type of format, team event. I'm not sure what team I'll be on, but yeah, I'll be really excited.
"Hope I can get a couple of big boys and we can up winning."
PGA Tour of Australasia boss Gavin Kirkman hailed Lee as "the hottest property in golf at the moment" after returning from the British Open at Royal Liverpool this year.
"The crowds following Min Woo were unbelievable, whatever he did," Kirkman said.
"Even if he went to the driving range, he is the hottest property in golf."
Now the younger brother of two-time women's major winner Minjee Lee is fast living up to his reputation.
On Sunday, Lee, the 2021 Scottish Open champion, broke a two-year title drought with a wire-to-wire victory at the Macau Open with a winning score of 30 under par.
Now he can't wait to try go back-to-back at the PGA Tour's ZOZO Championship in Japan starting on Thursday.
Scott, Cam Davis and Aaron Baddeley are also teeing up at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Chiba.
"It's definitely a challenge, there's a lot of tough holes. It's going to be fun," said the big-hitting Lee.
"I think it suits some long drives just because some of these holes play really long and some of these par-3s are quite tough. I played the front nine and that was a good challenge.
"I don't know how the scoring will be this week, but the greens are soft so you can attack them when you get wedges in your hand."
