Millwall fixtures for Championship 2023/24 season: Middlesbrough away begins optimistic campaign

Millwall begin their Championship campaign away at Middlesborough.

Gary Rowett’s side were denied a spot in the play-offs on a dramatic final day last season and are dealt a difficult start with games against Bristol City, Norwich, Stoke and Birmingham in the opening few weeks of the campaign.

It was a largely positive season at The Den until that final day and there will be hope of another promotion push.

Still, the likes of Leeds, Southampton and Leicester offer stern competition on that front and Milwall will first meet them in September, November and December respectively.

The festive period sees Rowett take his side to Stoke and Bristol City while hosting London rivals QPR and Norwich.

Should they be battling in the run-in for a play-off spot towards the end of the season, they will be playing the likes of Leicester, Cardiff and Sunderland during the final few games.

Were Millwall to get there, the Championship play-off final is on Sunday 26 May 2024.

Here is a full look at the fixtures.
