More than eight million households will receive hundreds of pounds next month as part of a Government support package.
From July 14, claimants will receive the first of two cost of living instalments totalling £650 - part of the £1,200 support package this year. The first payment will amount to £326, with the rest (£324) to follow in the autumn.
Tax credit claimants will also receive their first instalment of the cost of living payment from HMRC later this year, the Government has said. It comes as part of £37 billion government package to help families with cost of living pressures.

Figures from the Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ) show that almost one in four families will receive the means-tested benefit cost of living payment, with nearly 10% of the population getting the £150 disability top-up.
In total, millions of households will receive at least £1,200 from the government this year to help cover rising costs. Advice on GOV.UK said: "The eligibility date for the second instalment will be announced soon. If customers are eligible through receiving tax credits only, HMRC will contact them and issue payments automatically, with the first instalment being made from autumn.
"DWP will administer payments for customers on all other eligible means-tested benefits, and customers do not need to contact them or apply for the payment."
