Centre-back Millie Turner has signed a contract extension keeping her at the club until the summer of 2025.
Since joining Manchester United as part of the inaugural professional squad in 2018, she has made 97 appearances to date with a six-goal tally in total.
In this 2022/23 campaign, she has started every Women's Super League game alongside Maya Le Tissier, Ona Batlle and Hannah Blundell for a solid United backline and netted a vital goal at the Emirates in November.
Her 85th-minute header brought United back equal with Arsenal at two goals a piece just minutes before Alessia Russo headed home the winner for the emphatic 3-2 victory over the Gunners before Christmas.
Turner said: “I’m so happy to extend my contract. It’s the club that I want to be at – I don’t want to be anywhere else. I just can’t wait to continue this journey; I think we’ve got something really special here. There’s no ceiling to what we can achieve, and I want to win trophies here.”
Manager Marc Skinner said: “Millie is a player who optimises what it is to play for Manchester United, on and off the field. Her personal journey is one that fully deserves this new contract, and we are delighted that her energy, enthusiasm, and all-around quality will remain a part of our special group."
Currently sitting top of the WSL, Skinner's side are equal on points with current Champions Chelsea but are ahead of goal difference, three points clear of Arsenal and five points ahead of fourth place Manchester City.
United’s next fixture is on Sunday against Championship side Sunderland in the fourth round of the FA Cup, kicking off at 1pm at the Eppleton Colliery Football Ground.
