Millie Mackintosh sobs as she struggles to cope with daughter's 'terrible twos'

Millie Mackintosh broke down in tears on Instagram on Wednesday as she struggled to cope with her daughter's "tremendous twos".

The former Made In Chelsea star, 32, shared a video showing Sienna repeatedly calling 'Mummy' in the background as she tried to feed her three-month-old daughter Aurelia on the sofa.

Overcome with emotion, Millie let out an exasperated cry and told her followers she was finding parenting 'b****y hard'.

"Sienna is almost two and my goodness don’t we know it! I mentioned this a while ago but the tremendous twos are a very real, and constant thing for us at the moment," Millie wrote.

"Sienna is testing us whenever we need her to do anything from getting dressed, nappy changes, mealtimes, getting in the pushchair, bath time and bedtime, often resulting in her lying on the floor throwing her arms and legs around whilst screaming 'no, no, no!'

"She spends half the day asking for 'Daddy', yet when he comes home from work she gets upset and lashes out at him. I’m trying to spend one on one time with her doing something special that she enjoys, but it’s really difficult when sometimes she doesn’t want to be with me.

"I know she wants a reaction from us but I’m finding it really really hard to not react, be it with tears or laughter at how ridiculous the situation is, I mean who doesn’t want to get dressed to go to the park in the sunshine?!"

But Millie had managed to get Sienna ready to go out as she shared a snap of her daughter happily tucking into a sandwich in the park and another of her pushing Aurelia around the kitchen.

Millie added: "I know she is becoming her own little person and I want her to be a strong, independent little lady that knows what she wants, but I also want to get out of the house in the morning with a toddler that is dressed and has had her breakfast.'

"If you have any other words of wisdom please share, because parenting is b****y hard! Swipe for a little realness and believe me when I say, it’s not all sunshine and smiles over here!"

Millie welcomed Aurelia in November with husband Hugo Taylor and regularly shares candid insights into her parenting journey on Instagram.

Earlier this month, the reality star revealed she stopped breastfeeding Aurelia after she was suffering with severe mastitis.

The condition causes inflammation and can lead to an infection of breast tissue. Often, sufferers deal with bad pain as well as swelling, warmth and redness of the area.

Millie admitted every time she tried to feed her daughter she was left "crying in pain".

She wrote: "I really felt the pressure during my first round of mastitis to continue feeding. After mentioning it on social media I was flooded with messages and although there was a lot of support with people sharing different remedies that could help, I really felt the pressure to just keep going even though I was literally crying in pain every time I needed to feed.

"There was one comment that really stuck with me, 'it’s ok to stop too, it doesn’t make you a bad mum’ at the time I really needed to hear that'."
