Millie Court shares little known Love Island fact that could have changed everything for her

Millie Court has shared a little known fact about her Love Island experience.

The fashion buyer's administrator from Essex won the 2021 version of the show alongside Merthyr-born bricklayer Liam Reardon back in August, with the pair choosing to split the £50,000 prize money between them.

Since then the couple, who were both late bombshells on the series, have been keeping their fans updated as they navigate their relationship outside the famous villa.

But now Millie, who made an explosive entrance into the villa alongside Lucinda Strafford, has revealed things could have been different.

In a birthday message to Lucinda, Millie revealed she was actually meant to be joining the show earlier, but a twist of fate meant she walked in with her now best friend ahead of going on a date with Liam.

Posting to her 1.8 million Instagram, she wrote: "I truly believe everything happens for a reason.

"Little fact for you all, I was actually supposed to walk in the villa a few days before I did, but it got pushed back so that I was walking in with this one. I couldn't have handled my beginning journey of Love Island without Lucinda by my side.

"I was so nervous and she was so bubbly and confident and helped bring me out of my shell.

"I also couldn't believe how incredibly beautiful she was and we created this instant bond and I knew we were going to be friends for life. So grateful the world brought us together. Love you my little sis."

It comes after Liam recently revealed he was missing Wales "big time" as the house search with Millie in Essex continues. You can read more here.
