Millie Court has broken her social media silence following her split from Liam Reardon.
Love Island winner Millie, 25, shared a statement on her Instagram story to hit back at speculation about the circumstances leading up to her split from Liam, 22.
In a lengthy statement, Millie urged her 2million Instagram followers to "not believe" the claims and reminded people "we're human beings too".
She wrote: "Just wanted to jump on here to say thank you to everyone again for your support and all of your really kind words.
"It would have taken me hours to sit there and reply back to each and every one of you so just know that I see you, you made me smile on a really hard day and I love you all [hand heart and sad eyes emoji] I feel so lucky to have you all in my life."
Referencing the "nasty" rumours, Millie continued: "I'd also like to ask you guys to please not believe everything you have read in the press or have seen on social media. Last thing I want is people to say nasty things about Liam or put the blame on him, or vice versa, it wouldn't have ended on a good note like it did if anything had happened.
"Going through a break up is hard enough as it is, let alone when people are spreading nasty rumours that are simply not true.
"Please remember we are human beings too, we have feelings and to always, always be kind. You never really know what someone is going through."
The reality star continued: "I know I have been quiet for a couple of days but I needed time to digest, and also stay off my phone and clear my mind. However, majority of my job is based online and I love my job so much I truly do.
"I'll continue posting as normal, but again please be mindful of what you are commenting. Love you guys xxx."
Later, the ASOS model shared a post from an Instagram profile titled overcomingmental.health.
The post consisted of three photos of Caroline Flack, Sophie Gradon and Mike Thalassitis, who tragically took their own lives, and had the words "In a world where you can be anything... BE KIND" written on it.
Millie and Liam announced their decision to "separate" earlier this week, with statements shared to their Instagram stories.
In the lead up to the couple's announcement some online users had speculated the pair had gone their separate ways.
Some had suggested that Liam had following a string of women on Instagram in the lead up to the pair parting ways, while others highlighted the timing of their split coinciding with Casa Amor on Love Island.
Last year, Liam strayed in Casa Amor as he had a connection with Lilli Haynes but later decided to return to the villa and pursue things with Millie. Lilli, 23, spilled what had happened between her and Liam to Millie leaving their future as a couple uncertain.
However, the pair got over their hurdles and went on to win the show.
