Millie Bobby Brown Shares Underwater Engagement Proposal Story On TV

Millie Bobby Brown poses for a picture

Actress Millie Bobby Brown recently shared details about her engagement to Jake Bongiovi, son of Jon Bon Jovi, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Brown revealed that their engagement story involved a memorable underwater proposal.

According to Brown, the couple bonded over diving, a shared passion, and during a vacation, Bongiovi surprised her with a proposal while diving. He presented her with a ring inside a shell underwater, leading to a heartwarming and adventurous moment.

Despite a slight mishap where the ring fell off Brown's finger and sank quickly, Bongiovi bravely dove to retrieve it, showcasing his commitment and determination. After successfully saving the ring, he asked for Brown's hand in marriage, to which she joyfully accepted.

Interestingly, Bongiovi had initially planned to propose with Brown's mother's ring but was advised against it due to the risk of losing it underwater. Instead, he proposed with a different ring and later presented Brown with her mother's ring on the boat, adding a sentimental touch to the proposal.

The couple's engagement story is a testament to their strong bond and mutual support for each other. Brown expressed her belief that they will always have each other's backs, emphasizing the significance of their relationship.

Brown and Bongiovi's romance first made headlines in June 2021 when Bongiovi posted a selfie with Brown on Instagram, hinting at their close friendship. Since then, their relationship has blossomed, culminating in a unique and unforgettable engagement experience that they will cherish for a lifetime.
