Time away from tech, cooking from scratch, and spending time outdoors are the lifestyle changes Brits want to make to live life more naturally, according to new research. The data from FLORA reveals the lifestyle swaps people are willing to make to live more naturally.
As we live in a digital world, reducing screen time tops the list for millennials (25-34-year-olds), as over a third (37%) vow to spend less time on their phones, especially when it comes to staying away from social media (33%) and watching TV (31%). Other lifestyle factors Brits want to adopt include making more home cooked meals, with over a quarter (29%) of women claiming they’d like to spend more time cooking from scratch. However, being outside with nature proved a priority for men, with over a quarter (26%) wanting to go for more walks (26%) or generally spending more time outdoors (25%).

Brits across the country are also keen to change their food habits in a bid to live a more natural life. Incorporating healthy, natural foods into diets ranked highly, with over half (59%) revealing they’d add more fresh fruit and vegetables to their meals. Some are willing to go a step further by putting their gardening skills to the test, as a quarter (25%) of Brits claim they would pick up their tools and start growing their own fruit and vegetables.
Giving up dairy and meat products is also a consideration for Brits in their bid to live more naturally, with one in 10 (10%) revealing they’d consider adopting a plant-based diet.
