Milkipur: Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav is holding a road show in support of party candidate Ajit Prasad here for the Milkipur By-election scheduled for Feb 5.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, during the roadshow, Dimple Yadav will cover a distance of approximately 5-6 kilometers from Kumarganj to Milkipur.

Dimple Yadav offers prayers at Maharshi Bamdev Ashram Temple
Before the roadshow, Lok Sabha MP Dimple Yadav visited the Maharshi Bamdev Ashram Temple in the Milkipur Assembly constituency and offered prayers.

She gets rousing welcome
Dimple Yadav received a grand welcome from SP workers. Speaking to journalists, she exuded confidence that the party would register a landslide victory in Milkipur and stated that the election results would send a strong message to the entire state and country.
She expresses grief over loss of lives in Maha Kumbh
She also expressed sorrow over the loss of lives in Maha Kumbh stampede and urged the government to increase compensation.

Party has chosen Ajit Prasad for the Milkipur bypolls. He is the son of Faizabad MP Awadhesh Prasad.
The election was necessitated after Awadhesh Prasad was elevated to Lok Sabha in the general polls held last year in Aprail-May.
The results will be announced on Feb 8.
