Miley Cyrus reveals new wedding photos with Liam Hemsworth on Valentine's Day

Miley Cyrus has shared never-before-seen wedding photos from her wedding to Liam Hemsworth to mark Valentine’s Day.

The couple officially wed on 23 December in a small ceremony in Cyrus’ hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.

On Thursday, the 26-year-old singer posted six pictures from her nuptials.

In the first snap, Cyrus can be seen sitting with her mouth agape alongside her new husband.

“My Valentine every single day,” she captioned the black-and-white photograph, adding a heart emoji and tagging Hemsworth.

Another sees the newlyweds hugging underneath a floral arch made up of an assortment of roses and baby’s breath.

“Thank you for always bending down to hug me ... I promise I will always meet you in the middle on my tippiest toes! I love you Valentine! @liamhemsworth,” she captioned the snap.

For the wedding, Cyrus wore an ivory off-the-shoulder gown, widely believed to have been the Long Cocotte Dress, by British designer Vivienne Westwood.

In another black-and-white image, the newlyweds can be seen behind a white tiered wedding cake.

The recent bride, who performed a rendition of “Jolene” with her godmother Dolly Parton at the 2019 Grammys last weekend, also posted three colour photographs of herself in her wedding dress holding a bouquet of flowers.

The posts come days after Cyrus stood in for Hemsworth at the Los Angeles premiere of his new film, Isn’t It Romantic?, amid reports he was recovering from kidney stones.

The singer spoke to Variety on the red carpet, explaining that people working in the entertainment industry often fail to prioritise their well-being.

“He’s down, he’s not feeling well right now, he just had some health things,” she said wearing a sheer red Maison Valentino dress.

“Entertainers, we have a really hard time taking care of ourselves. Because this movie’s the most important thing to him, so I had to be here to represent it.”

The couple met in 2008 while filming The Last Song, an adaptation of the novel written by Nicholas Sparks.
