Miley Cyrus has shared a photo of Cardiff next to some of the world's biggest cities and people are going wild for it

The American actress and singer Miley Cyrus has shared a photo of Cardiff next to some of the world's biggest cities and her fans have been going wild for it. In a post shared on Twitter on Saturday, the singer, known for her hit singles such as Wrecking Ball and Party in the USA, was promoting her new single Flowers.

In the tweet, she thanked the streaming service Spotify and then shared photos of the single being promoted on billboards in various cities, including one from Times Square in New York City and another one from Toronto Eaton Centre in Toronto, Canada. Much to her Welsh fans' surprise however, she also shared a photo of her single's billboard on Queen Street in Cardiff.

Many responded to her decision to share a photo of the Welsh capital on Twitter. In response to the tweet, Twitter user Martyn Kelly said: "You're now an honorary Welsh person, I hope you know this." Matt Batten also tweeted: "Shwmae Cardiff!"
