Mikey Devlin is set to land a contract at Hibs until the summer, according to a report.
The former Aberdeen and Hamilton defender has been on trial with Lee Johnson's side as he looked to the free agent market in a bid to boost his defensive ranks. Ryan Porteous departed for Watford during the January window while Rocky Bushiri suffered an injury that will keep him sidelined for months.
That gave the 29-year-old, who left Fleetwood in January, the chance to train and show he can fill that void in the short-term with the Daily Record now reporting that he has done enough to impress and win a contract for the remainder of the season. The defender had an injury-plagued spell at Pittodrie and during his time under Celtic hero Scott Brown he featured just four times - twice in the league and two games in the EFL trophy.

After getting over his most recent injury woe, the former Hamilton stopper is confident he is now fit and well and wants to aid the Hibees bid to reach the top six and land a European place for next season.
Speaking about Devlin previously as he joined his side for a training stint, Johnson said: "It's no secret that we're looking for potentially one more. It could be Michael Devlin.
"He's in the building at the moment. I know he's had his recent injury history but all reports we've had in terms of his last club have been positive.
"It's an opportunity for us to have a look at him and him to have a look at us for three or four days."
