Arsenal have reportedly made their final contract offer for Eddie Nketiah.
According to The Daily Mail, the Gunners have offered Nketiah a new deal, with the feeling around the north London club that he could be willing to stay. The Hale End academy graduate has just five weeks remaining on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium, and he has previously admitted he wants to play more regularly if he is to stay.
“There have been offers of a new contract, but at the moment, my aim is to play football and play regularly”, he explained on the Beautiful Game Podcast last month. “That’s my ambition, and that’s what I hope to do, but at the same time, I’m at Arsenal. I love Arsenal.”

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has also made it no secret of his admiration for the talented forward, urging the youngster to stay in north London past his current contract.
Speaking about Nketiah's future, the Spaniard said: "With Eddie, I said so many times how much I rate him and that we have big plans for his future. We have to accept that, and it's the reality."
The Gunners opted to allow Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to join Barcelona during the January transfer window, and fellow frontman Alexandre Lacazette is also set to depart when his contract expires at the end of June. football.london understands that Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus is on the club's shortlist to replace the aforementioned duo.
