The representatives of Real Valladolid wonderkid Ivan Fresneda has claimed the 18-year-old is "ready" for a big move after attracting a number of Europe's biggest clubs
Fresneda made his professional debut last season in a Copa del Rey defeat to Real Betis last season, becoming the first under-18 player to feature in the Valladolid first team since 2014. This season, he has become a regular under Pacheta and featured for Spain Under-19s.
Reports yesterday stated that Arsenal had made the "first steps” to sign Fresneda after it emerged that Newcastle United had also made contact over a move. It's understood that the teenager has a £26million release clause in his contract but a fee in the region of £17.5million would be enough.

However, the Premier League pair are not alone with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus also keen. Ahead of the January transfer window, Fresneda's representatives have revealed that the defender is "ready" for the next step in his career.
In an interview with TuttoJuve, Eco Sports, who also represent Tottenham defender Emerson Royal, explained their client's future: "There hasn't been any official offer. At the moment, only rumours that follow one another.
"We're talking about Juventus which, without a shadow of a doubt, is one of the most important clubs out there. But Fresneda is ready and up to par for a team like Juve."
The comments come after Valladolid's sporting director insisted Fresneda's future will depend on the offer the La Liga side receive. “Fresneda has exquisite behaviour,” he told Futbol Fantasy. “He is a boy with incredible maturity and on the pitch. He is proving himself to be a first division player.
“At the moment, nothing has arrived. Yes, there are many rumours about teams that are following him, and that some of those are true. But, so far, we have not had any formal offer.
“And, the second part which is being able to sell players; allowing the club to continue growing in the shortest possible time. So, if an interesting offer arrives for one of our players, we are always open to listening to it. But also with the intention of not weakening the team.”
