Arsenal kick-off the 2022/2023 Premier League season with a visit to Selhurst Park where they take on Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace. Mikel Arteta will be hoping for a better result than the previous campaign at the same ground as the Gunners were thrashed 3-0.
To ensure this result is not repeated, Arteta has included two new signings in the first starting line-up of the season as Oleksandr Zinchenko comes in at left-back. New striker signing Gabriel Jesus also leads the line for the Gunners and will be hoping to get his first Premier League goal as an Arsenal player.
Arguably the most exciting addition to the starting line-up is William Saliba, who makes his first Premier League appearance following consecutive loans away from the club. Arteta has decided the field the same starting XI that has played in the previous two pre-season fixtures.
