Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has been compared to the importance of Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero since joining the club by former player Ray Parlour. It comes as the Brazilian has helped transform the side after a £45million move from Manchester City in the summer.
The 25-year-old has offered plenty of quality both on and off the ball to help the Gunners sit top of the Premier League table by the mid-season break for the World Cup. However, one key concern has been his goalscoring ability, hitting a run of 10 appearances without a goal for the club.
Despite that, Mikel Arteta has tipped him to bounce back, claiming: "That’s going to change [his bad luck], he’s getting the situations, he’s getting the chances, he’s contributing to the team an awful lot, he’s helping to win matches, the way he competes for every ball in every single action is incredible.

"It will come, he needs to be patient, he’s been through that in the past and he needs to learn those lessons and don’t stop doing those other things that he’s doing so well, because that’s going to maintain the level of him and the team.”
While the form of Jesus will no doubt be a concern, his contributions elsewhere have kept him firmly in the starting line-up and likely will for the foreseeable future. It's his all-round quality that has led him to being compared to Manchester City pair De Bruyne and Aguero, who had huge impacts on their side.
Former Arsenal player Parlour told the Express: "Probably if they [Arsenal] win the league," in response to being asked if City would regret letting the Brazilian leave. "It all comes down to what they win and Jesus was a different sort of player for them.
"He wasn't the main man, always had other players around him like Aguero and De Bruyne. But at Arsenal now he's such an important player. He's probably such as important to them as De Bruyne and Aguero were to City.
"I think he's really took that on his shoulders and really enjoys being the main man. He knows he's going to be the main man, playing every week."
It shows that even despite his struggles in front of goal, there is a clear vision as to what Jesus brings to the team and just how much he impacts Arteta's style of play.
