Mike White says there’s ‘no doubt’ he’ll play vs. Lions

New York Jets quarterback Mike White may still be feeling sore, but he certainly isn’t feeling down about his chances of playing.

White spoke to the media Thursday and said there is “no doubt” he will play Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

White said he has been dealing with some “general soreness” since taking the shots he did to the chest and ribs against the Bills, but he feels like he is good to go.

White was limited in practice Wednesday as the Jets continue to prepare as if he will start in Week 15 and after the team elevated Zach Wilson to QB2 on Wednesday. Getting on the practice field Wednesday was certainly a positive sign. How he feels Thursday and Friday will be telling, but the arrow is pointing up for White making his fourth start this season.
