Mike Tyson tells Dillian Whyte how to beat Tyson Fury for £3m bonus

Mike Tyson has detailed how he would try to defeat Tyson Fury if they were to meet in the ring, with his breakdown potentially of use to Dillian Whyte.

Fury will return to the ring on April 23rd at Wembley to defend his WBC heavyweight belt against Whyte, which marks the final hurdle before likely unification.

The Gypsy King has already been made the heavy favourite for the bout, with many predicting he will sweep aside Whyte with ease.

However, Tyson has detailed how he would look to overcome Fury and explained his methods towards such a bout.

“That would be tough, but there were guys that dropped him that were lighter than me," he told Club Shay Shay when asked how he'd look to beat Fury.

“Who was the gentleman that dropped him? The former cruiserweight champ [Steve Cunningham]. He’s not a harder puncher than I am – I’m able to hurt the big guys.

“I’ll try my best and do whatever ever I know how to do. Go in with your jab. He has to go all out for 12 rounds with him.

“He can’t give him no room to punch, he has to go all out for 12 rounds. He can’t give him no time by moving around, can’t allow him to think. He allows Tyson Fury to think a lot, he gives him a lot of time.”

Whyte is yet to break his silence on his bout with Fury since last week's official confirmation, while Fury has repeatedly fired jibes in the opposing direction.

It's anticipated that fans will soon get to see the pair face-off, with a press conference following the announcement of the fight expected imminently.

The winner of the heavyweight title clash will net a £3million bonus from Frank Warren's winning £31m purse bid as per WBC rules.
