A new Mike Tyson commercial could be about to come to fruition after a ‘cheeky Netflix mishap’ in the build up to his fight with Jake Paul.
‘Iron Mike’ lost via unanimous decision with many viewers being left underwhelmed by the spectacle. However, his core of hardcore fans were proud of his efforts. Especially that the former heavyweight champion is 58.
Tyson pocketed a reported $20 million for his efforts with 70,000 in attendance to watch his bout. The A&T Stadium played host to the one-off extravaganza.
Prior to Friday’s showdown, Tyson famously slapped Paul during the weigh-in. Reminding millions of his antics which he so often showcased during his prime.
With Tyson firmly back in the limelight, the boxing legend has been offered a rather unusual proposition to top up his bank balance. All due to an accidental Netflix broadcast.
Mike Tyson Commercial Could Land Star $250k
Fans and viewers would likely have seen a rather unusual side to ‘Iron Mike’ over the weekend. Namely his almost bare backside!
A Mike Tyson commercial is being touted after Netflix strayed somewhat below the belt on Friday night. The streaming giant broadcast his partially covered rare which has generated interest from advertisers.
CamSoda have suggested they will pay the boxing legend $250k to expose his derriere in a live webcam show for a total of 60 minutes.
“I think this offer is the perfect way to still get in front of people and perform in a different, less strenuous way. Plus, you don’t have to worry about anyone biting or going after your ears,” said company Vice President Daryn Parker.
At the time of writing, it’s unclear whether Tyson would be tempted to top up his earnings further. It would prove a huge shock if it did become reality!
With his fight against Paul becoming the one of the most-watched sports events of all-time, it’s hard to imagine droves of people tuning in to the proposed commercial.
