Mike Tirico calls ‘Sunday Night Football’ after suffering torn Achilles

The play-by-play announcer worked NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams after tearing his Achilles on Monday.

Tirico tore his Achilles when he missed a step in his house.

They showed Tirico’s leg during the broadcast and partner in the booth Cris Collinsworth made a joke that Tirico could be a patient on new NBC show “St. Denis Medical.”
