Mike Tindall will get an ear bashing from his wife Zara if he divulges too much without her permission on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, a royal expert has warned.
So far the former rugby player, whose wife Zara is a niece of King Charles and the daughter of Princess Anne, has not given too much away about his royal in-laws.
However, he has spilled details about his early relationship with his wife revealing how they had a boozy first date and both realised they liked getting "smashed".
Meanwhile, on last night's episode, Mike spoke candidly about Zara's traumatic birth experience and how she almost "choked him to death" when their one-year-old son Lucas arrived at their home in Gloucestershire.
And on today's episode of Lorraine, the presenter spoke to the Mirror's royal editor Russell Myers and said: "We hope he had permission from Zara to talk about these things."
And Russell replied: "Well yes, you do I suppose otherwise he will be in for an ear bashing when he gets home."
However, Russell believes that Mike seems to have been a favourite with viewers, who are seeing why he was beloved by his wife's late grandmother the Queen.
He added: "With Mike Tindall being on the show, a lot of eyebrows were raised, obviously his association with the royal family is well documented.
"I think he is showing a really sensitive side. People might have assumed Mike Tindall is this big rugby guy, with a hard exterior but he's got a bit of a soft centre and I think he is going to go quite far.
"He does have a great relationship with lots of the royal family - William and Harry and Beatrice and Eugenie but the Queen absolutely loved him and everybody is seeing what great qualities he's got - so I'm rooting for Mike at the moment."
Mike and Zara first met each other in a Sydney bar while Mike competed in England's successful World Cup campaign in Oz back in 2003.
The pair went on to tie the knot in 2011 and have since welcomed three children; Mia Grace, eight, Lena Elizabeth, four and son Lucas, who turned one in March this year.
Recalling Lucas' arrival with his fellow campmates in the Australian jungle, Mike said: "Lucas was rapid. Third one. As we got our stuff to go to hospital, she got out of the bath, she could barely stand, she was shaking. The midwife was like, ‘She’s not making the hospital.’
"She was like, ‘You don’t want to be delivering in the car.’ Into the gym, two gym mats down in the bathroom. But yeah."
Quizzed about whether Zara was in pain throughout the home birth, Mike admitted: "She was, it was fast though, from that moment. She almost choked me to death."
