Mike Perry has vowed to knock Michael 'Venom' Page "the f*** out" in their bare-knuckle fight later this month.
Perry will take to the bare-knuckle ranks for the second time when he takes on Bellator star Page on August 20 at promotion BKFC's first London show at Wembley Arena.. Perry had a successful opening bow in the sport having defeated bitter rival Julian Lane in a bloody and brutal showdown back in February.
The American star has become known for his hugely aggressive style both in bare-knuckle boxing and the UFC. And Perry believes he has an advantage with neither fighter able to use kicks while fighting in this format. "See if these knuckles fit in your mouth boy because I am coming for you," Perry aimed at 'MVP' when talking to Mirror Fighting . "You long stringy skinny bean I am going to knock your a** the f*** out.
"I am not going to let him get comfortable and let him get his timing going. It won't be easy for him. Sometimes I might let people get a punch in but I have prepared for the hard shots that do damage to people. I move with them punches, nothing about this is going to be easy on either side. I am ready to come at him ferociously for two minutes per round until he falls down and can't get back up.
"When I go in there and knock this guy out, will he want to come in and try it too? His feet are dangerous. But he is giving them up for this fight but with just hands I am going to be a problem in there for him. I think it is a fight that fans can really get in too, we have two electrifying styles but mine is more aggressive and I definitely bring the fight."
Page has not fought in the sport before but has fought in professional boxing in 2017 and 2018. The British star is known for his legacy in MMA promotion Bellator, where he is currently ranked No.2 at welterweight.

He lost his most recent bout in the promotion against Logan Storley by split decision, which could well be playing on his mind going into his first bare-knuckle appearance. Perry believes wins and losses will not play any huge advantage on the fight, but could impact his rival's mindset.
"Coming off of a loss he is obviously trying not to do that again," Perry continued. "But I think both of us are now each other's toughest fight so far and that we are ever going to have. We have been building up to this and it is not really going to matter in terms of wins, losses and past and present it is all about the now and when we are in there. It is good that the last thing happened to him was a loss because that is where his heads at right now."
