Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel has been making the rounds this week, as he introduces himself to the national media for the first time since accepting the position.
McDaniel has shown, in just over a month, that his personality is one that makes every interview watchable, and that’s not exactly something that’s been common in Miami in recent years.
On Friday, he joined the Pat McAfee Show to discuss a number of things, but things got off the rails a bit, as those who are regular viewers of the program can attest to is a regular occurrence. The conversation veered from his coaching journey and his plans for the Dolphins into McDaniel joking that he was a time traveler and how humans could evolve if they won a Super Bowl.

It’s refreshing to see a coach that doesn’t take himself too seriously and is able to have fun or joke during interviews. However, when the season comes, the results on the field are all that anyone will care about.
Until that time comes, we can enjoy McDaniel being himself.
