Mike McDaniel had the best jab after learning Dan Snyder’s asking price for the Washington Commanders

One of the more significant underlying questions at the NFL’s owners meetings this year is the potential sale of Dan Snyder’s Washington Commanders.

According to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, a sale of the Commanders is apparently looming, so the other 31 owners won’t move to remove Snyder, considering it’ll be a moot point soon anyway. And per the New York Post, Snyder is reportedly asking for at least $6 billion from any potential bidders.

When WUSA9 reporter Darren B. Haynes ran these figures by Miami Dolphins’ head coach Mike McDaniel — who coached in Washington from 2011-2013 — he was hilariously incredulous.

The Commanders are worth so much money, but can’t even provide “free coffee”? Bonkers!

McDaniel was joking here, but it’s still a legitimate question to me. A sports franchise is worth several billion and can’t even for some cheap coffee beans. C’mon now!

Though, to be fair: Such a revelation wouldn’t be out of line with how Snyder has run the Commanders.

NFL fans thought McDaniel's delivery of his "free coffee" Commanders joke was hilarious
