A 58-year-old woman was left with injuries after being assault following an altercation between a group of youths.
On Sunday, April 30, at around 8.50pm, a woman was pushed amid the altercation involving a group of teenagers near the Jarnac Court and High Street area of Dalkeith.
Police are now appealing for information from the public and confirmed that a female who is around 16-years-old is involved.

A statement from the force reads: "Officers are appealing for information after an assault in Dalkeith.
"The incident happened in the Jarnac Court and High Street area around 8.50pm on Sunday, April 30.
"An altercation occurred between a group of youths resulting in a 58-year-old woman being pushed over and sustaining injuries.
"The person involved is female, white and aged around 16-years-old. She is of a medium/heavier build with her hair in a bun and wearing a vest top.
"Detective Constable Gordon Wilson said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may be able to help to come forward.
“We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard any disturbance in the area around that time.
