Police in Midlothian had raced to an incident on a country road last week after two cars collided in an early morning incident.
Officers from Dalkeith are now appealing for witnesses and further information regarding the crash, which took place on the rural A68.
Occurring near the Stair Arms Hotel on July 14, the two vehicles, a Range Rover Evoque and a Scannia HGV are reported to have collided at around 8am.

Speaking on social media, police urged anyone with information to get in touch on 101.

An appeal said: "Officers from #DalkeithRP are appealing for witnesses following a 2 vehicle collision which occurred about 0800hrs on the 14th July 2022 on the A68 near to the Stair Arms Hotel.
"The collision involved a Scannia HGV & a Range Rover Evoque.
"Incident 562 14-07-2022 refers."
