Midlothian house hunters wanted for new Location, Location, Location series

Channel 4's long-running property programme is searching for Midlothian house-hunters for a new series.

Location, Location, Location sees house hunters from across the UK look for their perfect home with the help of Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer. Whether it is a first-time buy, upgrade or downsize, the property loving duo may be able to help.

Applications to appear on the show are now open. People in Midlothian can apply online. Applicants are asked to send as much detail as possible. You can also include photos and a video explaining why you need Kirstie and Phil’s help.

To be eligible to apply for the show, you'll need to be a chain-free buyer struggling to find that perfect property.

Due to the volume of applications received, the production team say they can’t reply to everyone, however every application will be considered.

Back in 2021, Kirstie and Phil were in Edinburgh helping a family find their dream home but viewers were shocked at the prices. While Phil gushed over Edinburgh's "gorgeous blend of Georgian streets and medieval old town", they admitted house prices were up seven per cent in the last two years and were £35k more than the UK average.

"So, it's no surprise our house hunters are struggling this week," Kirstie said - and she wasn't kidding.

Viewers were left gobsmacked by the stunning city's house prices as one family struggled to find the right home with a sizeable budget of £850k cash and a £100k mortgage to play with.

But for those looking for their dream home in Midlothian, you can apply to take part in Location, Location, Location here.
