Middlesbrough vs Chelsea: TV channel, how to watch, live stream information, kick-off time

Chelsea return to action on Saturday when they make the trip north to face Middlesbrough in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Thomas Tuchel’s men are off the back of a 2-1 win over Lille in the Champions League, booking themselves into the final eight of that competition too.

But in Boro, they face a rather different challenge to make their way into the final four of the world’s oldest football competition, with the Championship side already proving a thorn in the side of some Premier League opposition. Chris Wilder has already overcome both Manchester United and Tottenham to reach this stage and they will be wanting another giant killing in this round.

They will be backed by a packed out home crowd at the Riverside Stadium, with the Blues unable to bring a section of away fans due to sanctions placed upon club owner Roman Abramovich. It led to the club requesting for the game to be played behind closed doors, before swiftly rescinding it amid outrage.

Before the game, Tuchel claimed he is expecting an emotional atmosphere at the ground. He said: “This is what we expect; an emotional stadium, emotional crowd. We love the competition, I love the FA Cup, so we expect a tough away match against a strong team. And not more than that. But this is what we expect, and it will be a challenge for us."
