Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ: MSFT) has revealed its plans for Gamescom 2023, featuring the largest booth ever for Xbox and the return of Xbox FanFest.

“Microsoft Corporation is an American multinational technology corporation headquartered in Redmond, Washington. Microsoft’s best-known software products are the Windows line of operating systems, the Microsoft 365 suite of productivity applications, and the Internet Explorer and Edge web browsers,” said Wikipedia.

“The booth will showcase over 30 games across 150 gaming stations, including presentations for “Starfield,” “Forza,” and “Ara: History Untold,” said IGN.

However, these games will not be playable at the event. The ones that’ll be available for eager gamers to try are: “Towerborne,” “The Elder Scrolls Online,” “Microsoft Flight Simulator,” “S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2,” “Payday 3,” “Jusant,” “Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon,” “Party Animals,” “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty,” “Under the Waves,” and “Persona 5 Tactica.”

The focus seems to be on games scheduled for release in 2023 or early 2024, with no mention of anticipated titles like “Fable,” “Avowed,” “South of Midnight,” “Clockwork Revolution,” and “Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2.”

For fans of Xbox FanFest, there will be a virtual event streaming on Xbox’s Twitch channel on Aug. 23 at 11:30 am Pacific / 2:30 pm Eastern / 7:30 pm UK.

Gamescon 2023 will take place in Cologne from Aug 23 to Aug 27.

“Earlier dethroned by Apple in 2010, in 2018, Microsoft reclaimed its position as the most valuable publicly traded company in the world. In April 2019, Microsoft reached a trillion-dollar market cap, becoming the third U.S. public company to be valued at over $1 trillion after Apple and Amazon, respectively. As of 2022, Microsoft has the fourth-highest global brand valuation,” said Wikipedia.
