Microsoft has rolled out several new features and updates for Copilot. From AI-powered vision support on Android to smarter shopping tools and improved conversational capabilities. The latest update aims to make Copilot more intuitive and useful than ever. Here’s what’s new in the March 19, 2025, release.
Product Price Tracking for All U.S. Users
Earlier, to find the best deals, we had to rely on third-party extensions. But now, Copilot offers a product price tracking feature for users in the U.S. It allows shoppers to ask Copilot about an item, start tracking its price, and receive alerts whenever there’s a price drop or a new deal available.
Copilot Vision Expands to Android and Edge
One of the biggest updates is that Copilot Vision is now available for Android users. However, it’s only available for the Pro subscribers in the U.S. This feature allows users to use their phone’s camera to interact with Copilot, making it easier to get real-time assistance by simply showing what’s in front of them. It almost works like the Google Lens, so how many users will actually use this feature is something only time will tell.
However, the more interesting update about Copilot Vision is that it’s now available for all free users of Microsoft Edge in the U.S. This means Copilot can now scan, analyze, and provide insights based on webpage content. According to the company, it will give instant recommendations and deeper understanding while browsing.
Think Deeper Now Powered by OpenAI’s o3-mini (high)
Microsoft has also upgraded its Think Deeper, Copilot’s reasoning model, to OpenAI’s o3-mini (high). Thanks to this change, users will now be able to get faster responses to complex queries and improve Copilot’s ability to tackle in-depth reasoning tasks. The best part is that the improved model is already available to all signed-in Copilot users.
More Visuals in Copilot Responses
Microsoft is improving the Copilot answers with images or videos where appropriate. As a result, users will have visuals when searching for dining spots or checking the latest basketball and soccer updates. However, this feature is currently limited to the desktop version, but the company is also working on its mobile version, which will roll out in the coming weeks.
Copilot is Now Available on GroupMe and Viber

Microsoft has integrated Copilot into GroupMe and Viber. Users can long-press a message in GroupMe to activate Copilot and start a conversation. On the other hand, Viber users can now send messages, upload images for analysis, and even generate images based on descriptions.
Additional Improvements: Read Aloud, File Uploads & Mac Support
- Read Aloud: Copilot can now read longer text responses at up to 1.5x speed. Users can also choose to read poems or bedtime stories aloud to different voices.
- File Upload Support: Copilot now supports PowerPoint deck uploads, allowing users to ask questions and get summaries for presentations.
- Mac Device Context Update: Copilot now provides better responses related to macOS usage. Users can ask questions like, “How do I take a screenshot?” and receive more precise guidance.
