Mick Jagger had flings with two of his bandmates, bombshell new book claims

Mick Jagger reportedly had flings with two members of The Rolling Stones.

The androgynous style icon is famous for dating a string of stunning supermodels, actresses and singers over the years.

But he's also rumoured to have had an affair with David Bowie.

And now a new book claims that the Thin White Duke wasn't Jagger's male lover - and that he also had a dalliance with two members of his own band.

Lesley-Ann Jones claims in her new book The Stone Age that Jagger is a "bisexual icon" who had flings with both Keith Richards and guitarist Mick Taylor who was in the band from 1969 to 1974.

Both men appear in an appendix to the book listing Jagger's many lovers over his career.

Jagger's alleged fling with David Bowie is also mentioned as is an alleged affair with Austrian actor Helmut Berger.

The author also features quotes from interviews with Jagger's past girlfriends.

Anita Pallenberg said: "From when I first met them, I saw Mick was in love with Keith."

While Marianne Faithfull added: "I had an inkling that there was a sexual undercurrent between them. I knew in some part of my head that Mick was bisexual."

Meanwhile, the author interviewed Paul Levett who sat with Mick Taylor's former wife Rose at a party.

"She told me that she found her husband in bed with Mick Jagger," Levett claims.

"Why would she say such a thing to me, if she had not seen it with her own eyes?"

Jagger himself admitted that Taylor was "exciting" and "very pretty" in a 1995 interview.

"Mick would play very fluid lines against my vocals," he said.

"He was exciting, and he was very pretty, and it gave me something to follow, to bang off. Some people think that's the best version of the band that existed."

Meanwhile, the relationship between Jagger and Richards has been well documented as being fiery over the years.

In 2010 Richards wrote in his book Life that his nickname for Jagger was "Her Majesty" and he claimed the frontman had a "tiny todger".

Jagger only agreed to go back on tour with the Rolling Stones after Richards apologised for the remarks.

But the pair have now made amends, and Marianne Faithfull once said: "Of all Mick's relationships, the only one that really means anything to him is with Keith."

Mirror has contacted Jagger's representative for comment.
