Simply Red star Mick Hucknall has revealed that Long Covid has left him with heart palpitations and sleep issues.
The band's frontman contracted the virus last month and he has been suffering from the symptoms ever since.
"I’ve got long Covid. I go to bed and wake up in the night with my heart going 'ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom'," he explained to The Sun.
"I just have to grab two or three hours sleep when I can."
Long Covid is the experience of symptoms that last weeks or months after initially contracting the virus.
Common symptoms of Long Covid include fatigue, breathlessness, heart palpitations, difficulty sleeping, anxiety and depression, chest tightness, joint/muscle pain and brain fog.
Fortunately, the frontman was well enough to perform at London's O2 Arena on Wednesday.
The initial concert was meant to be in 2020 but was postponed several times due to the lockdown and then infections.
He had reportedly told Simply Red's fans five out of six members of the band contracted Covid. Steve Lewinson managed to not get it.
Following the concert, Simply Red took to their social media to thank fans for the wonderful time.
"Oh what a night!" they said alongside a picture of the crowd. "Thank you so VERY MUCH! We felt the love."
The day before, they also thanked fans but added: "Much appreciated after all we've been through."
Mike's vocals have also been improving since contracting the virus.
He had said: "Not long ago, I did a full vocal warm-up for the first time in three years. My wife and daughter had to leave the house because I was making so much noise.

"But I was so happy with the results. I’m hitting all the notes I used to hit and the power is still there."
Their tour was meant to commence in 2020 but was pushed back to 2021 when the coronavirus hit.
Those dates ended up not working out and it was pushed back again for 2022.
Unfortunately, members of the band then contracted Covid so they had to postpone the concerts for the fourth time after the O2 was forced shut when the roof was torn off during Storm Eunice in February.
When their concert was cancelled due to infections, the band released a statement.
"Simply Red are 100% committed to complete this tour," they said.
"Whether you are now unable to attend or not, we are determined to be there for You."
