The Michigan Wolverines and the Washington Huskies will play for all the marbles on Monday night when the two teams take the field in the College Football Playoff national championship game at NRG Stadium in Houston.
In the final chapter of the 2023 college football season, the Wolverines will wear a familiar uniform ensemble against the Huskies. Michigan will don its all-blue uniform—blue jersey, blue trousers and blue accessories—in battle against Washington. Interestingly, when Michigan trotted out on the field in its “big game blue” attire against Georgia in the ’21 CFP semifinal, Michigan lost the game.
However, earlier during the ’21 campaign, the Wolverines wore their all-blue ensemble for the first time and registered a 31–10 victory against the Huskies in Ann Arbor.
Meanwhile, the Huskies will take the field in their white-based uniforms as the road team in Monday’s final Big Ten-Pac-12 clash.
Washington will wear white pants that include purple stripes on the side, white jerseys and vintage gold helmets.

Michigan (14–0) enters Monday’s title game after defeating the Alabama Crimson Tide in overtime in the Rose Bowl while Washington (14–0) secured a win against the Texas Longhorns in the Sugar Bowl. The Wolverines and Huskies will clash for the CFP title Monday night, with the broadcast slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET.
