Michigan State’s hockey program is headed in a new direction with the hiring of Adam Nightingale as the new headman in East Lansing. Nightingale will look to make an immediate impact at MSU in year one, taking over a team that finished the 2021-22 season with a record of 12-23-1.
The Spartans now have their non-conference schedule finalized and know who they will have to take on in the 2022-23 campaign outside of the Big Ten.
MSU’s non-conference schedule will feature the United States National Development Team, Bowling Green, UMass Lowel, Long Island, Miami and the Great Lakes Invitational tournament.
