The Mike Richter Award is given annually to the top goaltender in college hockey, and for fans who have been watching Michigan State hockey this year, it will be no surprise to learn that MSU goalie Trey Augustine has been named a semifinalist for that award.
Augustine currently has a .919 save percentage and has a 20-6-2 record as a Spartan.
Congrats to our freshman netminder Trey Augustine, one of the semifinalists for the Mike Richter Award as the nation's top goaltender!#GoGreen pic.twitter.com/nFcYYHkSAN
