Michigan State hockey beats Michigan on Saturday night

Michigan State hockey bounced back on Saturday night in a big big way. Following a 3-2 overtime loss in Ann Arbor on Friday night, the Spartans rebounded on Saturday night in East Lansing. MSU dominated Michigan 4-1.

Michigan State got goal scoring contributions from Matt Basgall, Shane Vansaghii and two from Charlie Stramel. Trey Augustine made 34 saves while only giving up one goal in the game.

MSU will be back on the ice next weekend in a highly anticipated matchup with Minnesota at Munn Ice Arena.
