Nathan Carter has made the decision to declare for the NFL draft after just two seasons in East Lansing, following his transfer from UConn. He had one year of eligibility remaining.

In his two seasons in East Lansing, Carter carried the ball 301 times for 1,297 yards and 9 touchdowns, while catching 40 passes for 206 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was a captain for the Spartans in 2024.
