According to a report from Spartans Illustrated, Michigan State football is elevating senior offensive analyst Aaron Pflugrad to passing game coordinator.
Pflugrad, who was a wide receiver in his collegiate days at Oregon and Arizona State, was hired by the Spartans last year after spending the last six years at Northern Arizona as the wide receivers coach and then offensive coordinator. Before that, he spent three years as a graduate assistant with Arizona State.
Pflugrad is a former AFCA 35 under 35 recipient and this will be another big step as he moves, presumably, towards being a Power-5 level offensive coordinator down the road.
