There was a lot of controversy during Michigan State’s win over Central Michigan surrounding Nebraska transfer wide receiver Alante Brown. On the first play of the game, Brown appeared to have suffered from a brutal looking head injury, that almost surely was a concussion from the naked eye. After getting carted out on a stretcher, Brown returned to the game for a kickoff later in the half, before being seen in street clothes in the second half.
With the concern of head injuries, a lot of discourse came about from Brown’s situation, which the MSU athletic health staff responded to:
