Michigan State is heading into the month of November with a 3-5 record and needing to make something happen in order to have a chance at a bowl game and postseason play.
The final stretch of the regular season and the push for a bowl game starts next Saturday when the Spartans travel to Urbana-Champaign to face the Illinois Fighting Illini.
The game has officially been set to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. EST inside of Memorial Stadium on the Big Ten Network.
