Michigan State has lost a member of its defensive line. Jeff Pietrowski has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Pietrowski was a member of MSU’s 2020 recruiting class, coming to East Lansing by way of St. Edward’s High School in Cleveland, Ohio. If given a medical redshirt for the 2022 season, he should have 3 years of eligibility remaining.
In his MSU career, Pietrowski played in 19 games recording 43 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks.
MSU spokesman confirms DE Jeff Pietrowski has entered the transfer portal. Played in Spartans’ first 3 games before suffering a leg injury. Should have 3 years left by using his medical redshirt season for 2022 and the 2020 COVID waived (played that season as a true freshman).
