Michigan State football has added more help to their defensive backfield via the transfer portal on Sunday. The Spartans have picked up the commitment of UConn cornerback Malcolm Bell.
Bell will come to MSU from UConn, where he spent the last three years as a major player in the Huskies defensive backfield. He has totaled 94 tackles, 5 tackles for loss and 13 pass defends in his collegiate career.
The corner joins Nijhay Burt and Joshua Eaton as additions to the Spartans defensive backfield, as the Spartans coaching staff looks to improve the talent and depth of the position group.
