Michigan State was left in a bit of a bind early this offseason. The Spartans were set to face the Ragin Cajuns of Louisiana in week three of the 2024 season. That game will not happen anymore, as Louisiana bought out of the contract, for $500,000, to replace that game with a trip to Wake Forest.
Now, just nine months away from gametime, the Spartans needed to find an opponent, which isn’t the easiest of tasks. MSU has found their new week three opponent.
In a schedule reveal on X, it was announced that MSU will now host Prairie View A&M to replace Louisiana.
